We Are Zion Christian Church’s Disciples Women

Our purpose is to serve God by opening our eyes to the needs of the world and filling our hearts with concern for all people. We are “Disciples Women!

Our women meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7PM. We participate in several missions throughout the year with monetary gifts, fundraisers, and giving of our time.

Some are listed below:

WHEAT, Christian Church in Virginia (Spring Workshop), Christian Church in Virginia (Scholarship), Christian Church in Virginia (Blessing Boxes, Church World Services (Haiti Health Kits), and Zion Christian Church (Haiti Mission).

HOME MISSIONS: Disciples Mission Fund, Hanover Safe Place, Shoe Fund, School Supplies for the needy, Anonymous Gifts, Fruit Baskets for the Sick and Shut- ins, Christmas Gifts to our chosen “Christmas Family” and to Social Services, Postage for School Supplies (Overseas), Gifts for the Sick and to Fix and Donate School Bags.

We are always happy to serve our Lord! So come join us at Zion Christian Church … a place to be loved, cared for, and to meet God!!!
