Zion Christian Church continues its commitment to providing breakfast foods for the WHEAT pantry.
As you travel throughout the year, please remember to collect small hotel-sized toiletry items (especially shampoos, body wash and
lotions) to support Zion's ministry with the Oak Ridge unit at the Beaumont Juvenile Correctional Center. These items are used as
prizes when Zion visits and plays bingo with the teenage boys there a couple of times a year. Please forward any items you collect
to David Koogler.
A Community Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, June 11, starting at 8:00 am. The sale will be held at Zion's Christian Center beside the church. Come and browse and find your treasures!!
The Annual Congregational Meeting will be held on June 12. The first order of business will be to vote to change the by-laws, specifically to remove the two-year term limit from the office of Secretary. Following that vote, will be the vote for the 2016-2017 officers.
